Ridge Meadows Run Crew is a running community group based in British Columbia’s Maple Ridge. They offer weekly meetups for runners of all ability levels, giving participants the opportunity to meet like-minded people and train for whatever running goals they have. The team that puts this group on approached me to give their logo and branding a refreshed, custom treatment.
RMRC didn’t have much of a brand to start, just an outdated and pixelated logo. They had some inspiration based around illustrated mountains.
The team at RMRC were pretty open to suggestions, they just knew they loved the aesthetic of trail races in the PNW and wanted a brand that felt at-home in that world.
The team at RMRC were thrilled with the results, they ended up with a new logo and branding that better encapsulated who they are as a community and a logo that people can get excited about. Check them out on Strava!
